Latitude WordLink sample Word templates To design your own estimate, quotation, packetsheet, timesheet, field ticket, invoice, register report, receipt and statement documents, use Microsoft Word to modify any existing Word templates you have. If you do not have any existing templates contact your Latitude vendor for sample templates. Download (or ask your Latitude vendor for) the latest versions of the Latitude Tag List documents that detail the 1,000+ tags available for you to use in your Latitude Word templates. Each business has unique requirements, and so Latitude allows you to customize its screens to better fit them. This can be done by changing field name labels, using 'spare' fields such as txtUserField1 to hold extra information that Latitude doesn't have predesignated fields for, and changing field appearance and behaviour. Appearance changes include hiding a field by making it invisible. Behaviour changes include making a field required so that users can't leave it blank, or read-only so users can read and copy field content, but can't change it. Latitude Custom Field List 9218.0201
LatiReporter is a separate application that you can use to build reports that your users can run for themselves. It contains sample reports and queries for you to copy and modify. The queries can be used to export data to Excel for analysis. A report wizard allows even novice Latitude administrators to create reports for their users. LatiReporter works by directly linking to data in your Latitude database, so be careful not to accidentally edit any data without first exporting it to Excel.
